Your personal account with OneEighty Communications includes five e-mail accounts. One "Dial up" account for logging onto the Internet and checking your e-mail, and four additional "Mailbox" e-mail accounts for e-mail only (non "Dial up"). You must first log onto OneEighty through your "Dial up" account to use the Internet or access any e-mail.
If you have a business account, you will be given one "Dial up" and 8 additional "Mailbox" accounts instead of four.
To request your additional e-mail accounts, call OneEighty Communications. Have your usernames in mind when you call and possible replacements in case your chosen username is already taken.
Your new e-mail accounts will all end with @180com.net. If your current address ends in @wtp.net you may keep this, but will have to use the @180com.net for any newly added accounts. In compliance with the standards, lower case letters are required for an account name (email address). Passwords are account specific so we need only one password, for each account, which must be between 5-10 letters and/or numbers in length.
Configuring Your Email Program- If you are using "Eudora" or "Netscape" for e-mail, they only support one email account each. You may still use them, though.
- If you are using "Outlook Express" or "Outlook", they support multiple e-mail accounts. Simply add an additional e-mail account to the program.
- "Outlook" is a program that is included with the purchase of "Microsoft Office" or may be purchased separately.
- "Outlook Express" is a free program included with Internet Explorer. Windows already has Internet Explorer so you just need to find the short-cut to "Outlook Express".
