Creating a Dialer
- Click on Start, Settings, Dial-Up Networking.
- Double Click on Make New Connection.
- Enter OneEighty for the name and click Next.
- Type in the Area Code and Access Number than click Next.
- Click on the Finish button.
- Right Click on the OneEighty icon, and Left Click on Properties.
- Make sure the proper phone number is typed in, and the Use Area Code box is not checked.
- Click on the Networking tab. Make sure only Enable Software Compression is checked, and TCP/IP is checked.
- Click OK.
- Windows ME often requires either a logon terminal window or a logon script. To utilize the script:
- Download wtp.scp here.
- Save the file in the folder C:\windows
- Check Browse and select wtp.scp from the drop-drop menu.
- Click OK.
- Double Click on the OneEighty icon.
- Type in User name and Password.
- Click Connect.
- Click on Start, Settings, Dial-Up Networking.
- Right Click on the OneEighty icon, and Left Click on Properties.
- Make sure the proper phone number is typed in, and the Use Area Code box is not checked.
- Click on the Networking tab at the top. Make sure only Enable Software Compression is checked, and TCP/IP is checked.
- Click on the TCP/IP Settings button.
- Click on the Scripting tab.

- Download wtp.scp here.
- Save the file in the folder C:\windows
- Check Browse and select wtp.scp from the drop-drop menu.
- Click OK.
- On the Desktop Right Click on My Network Places
- Click on Properties
- Double Click on TCP/IP -> Dial-Up-Adapter
- Click on the DNS Configuration tab.
- Disable DNS
- Double click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
- Double click the Dial Up Networking icon.
- Click once on the OneEighty icon.
- Click File.
- Click Properties.
- Insert the new telephone number in the Telephone Number box.
- Click OK.
- Close the Dial Up Networking window.
- Close the My Computer window.
- Dial into OneEighty.
