Clearing the Cache
Internet Explorer, like most internet browsers, uses a cache area on your hard drive to store elements of home pages and sites you visit for faster access. Clearing your Temporary Internet Files occasionally can help the performance of the browser.
- Connect to OneEighty Communications and open Internet Explorer.
- Go to the menu bar and click on View or Tools.
- Click on Internet Options in the drop down menu.
- Click on the General tab.
- Under Temporary Internet Files, click on the Delete Files button.
- Click on the OK button when the dialog window appears.
- Wait until the cursor returns from an hourglass to an arrow.
- Click on the OK button to return to the Options window.
- Click on the OK button to return to Internet Explorer.
